SaaS development for founders with an idea

Have an idea for a software product people pay for monthly? Tell us about it. On a free call we work out what the first version needs, then send a written proposal with the price and timeline. A Starter SaaS MVP starts from £2,500 and a Custom SaaS MVP from £4,000, depending on your requirements.

What goes into a SaaS product

Behind every SaaS product is the same set of parts, whatever it does. We build them properly from the first version, so the product can grow without being rebuilt.

  • The workflow customers pay for

The one thing your product does better than a spreadsheet: scheduling, quoting, tracking, reporting. We build that path end to end first, and keep a list of everything else for later versions.

  • Subscriptions and billing

Plans, free trials, upgrades, cancellations and invoices through Stripe, so customers can pay without you chasing them.

  • Accounts, teams and roles

Sign-up, login and password reset, with a customer able to invite colleagues and give them different permissions.

  • Customer data kept apart

Each customer sees only their own records. As the product grows, this becomes a full multi-tenant setup with its own architecture and security review.

  • An admin panel for you

See who signed up, which plan they are on, correct records and answer support questions without asking a developer.

  • Onboarding and emails

Welcome emails, trial reminders and receipts that arrive, so new customers get set up without a call.

From idea to paying customers

You do not need a technical co-founder or a specification. An idea and a clear sense of who will pay for it is enough to start.

  1. A free call

    30 minutes

You explain the idea and who it is for. We ask who you have spoken to, what they pay for today, and tell you honestly whether we think it is ready to build.

  2. Written proposal

    No charge

We write down what the first version includes, what is left for later, and the price and timeline for your requirements. You agree it in writing before the build starts.

  3. Build

    From 4 weeks

A Starter SaaS MVP usually takes 4 to 5 weeks, and larger builds get their timeline in the proposal. You talk to the engineers writing the code, with no account manager in between.

  4. Launch and grow

    Launch support plan

Your first customers sign up and pay, with a launch support plan included. Then a monthly support plan keeps the product updated, and each new version is built on the same codebase.

What a SaaS product costs

SaaS is priced on your requirements, and your written proposal gives the exact price. Every build includes a launch support plan.

  • Starter SaaS MVP

There is no per-user fee from us, and no revenue share on the terms agreed in your proposal: you pay for the build, and the subscriptions your customers pay are yours. Ongoing support runs on a monthly plan from £129, or one-off tasks are quoted in hours at £49 an hour.

When you should not build a SaaS yet

Software is the expensive way to find out nobody wants something. Some ideas are better tested first.

Test it by hand first, when

  • You have not yet asked the people you expect to pay whether they would.
  • A form, a spreadsheet and a payment link could serve your first ten customers.
  • An existing tool already does it well and your version is not clearly different.

Build it when

  • Customers already pay for a manual version and you cannot keep up.
  • A pilot customer or a waiting list is ready to sign up.
  • You run a process for your own business that other companies would pay to use.
  • An investor or partner needs to see working software, not slides.

What we build SaaS products with

Well-known tools that plenty of other developers can pick up, so the product is never tied to us.

Laravel and PHP
Accounts, queues, emails and Stripe subscriptions through Laravel Cashier come with the framework, so the budget goes on your product.
Next.js and React
When the interface is what customers are paying for, or your marketing pages need to load fast and rank in search.
Flutter, React Native or NativePHP
iOS and Android apps for your customers, signing in to the same accounts and subscriptions as the web app through the same API.
Stripe
Subscriptions, trials, invoices and card payments, with card details handled on Stripe’s side, never stored in your product.
Custom or Filament admin dashboard
A working admin for you and your support team in days with Filament, or built to measure when the product needs it.
MySQL and AWS
A standard database and hosting with room for many more customers than you start with.

From spreadsheets to one platform

Laksiri ran its branches on spreadsheets and separate tools. We replaced them with one Laravel portal with roles, dashboards, integrations and mobile apps: the same parts a SaaS product is made of.

Building your SaaS from anywhere in the UK or worldwide

You do not need to be in London to work with us. Scoping is a few video calls and a shared document, and during the build you message the engineers directly. A founder in Leeds, Glasgow or abroad gets the same build as one round the corner, priced the same way.

Questions buyers ask

Straight answers. If yours is not here, email us.

How much does it cost to build a SaaS product?
A Starter SaaS MVP starts from £2,500: a tightly defined first version with standard authentication, Stripe integration and a basic admin panel. A Custom SaaS MVP, with more bespoke workflows, richer permissions and integrations, starts from £4,000. Complex builds start from £8,000 and are scoped and quoted individually. Every build includes a launch support plan, and the written proposal after the first call gives the exact price for your requirements.
How long does it take to build a SaaS?
A Starter SaaS MVP usually takes 4 to 5 weeks once the proposal is agreed, if decisions are made promptly. Larger builds get their timeline in the proposal. If you have a fixed launch date, tell us on the first call and we will scope to it.
I only have an idea and no technical background. Can you help?
Yes. On the first call we help you turn the idea into a first version: who it is for, the one workflow they will pay for, and what can wait. You do not need a specification or a technical co-founder.
Can you add subscriptions and payments?
Yes. We use Stripe for monthly and annual plans, free trials, upgrades, cancellations and invoices. Card details stay with Stripe and are never stored in your product.
Can you turn our existing software or spreadsheets into a SaaS?
Yes. If you already run a process for your own business, in spreadsheets or an internal tool, we can rebuild it as a product other companies sign up to and pay for. We look at what you have on the first call and say whether to rebuild or extend it.
What is multi-tenant SaaS, and do I need it?
Multi-tenant means many customer companies share one system, with each one seeing only its own data. Every SaaS we build keeps customers apart. A fuller multi-tenant setup, with per-customer settings and more demanding infrastructure, is part of a Complex SaaS build, and most products only need it once they have grown.
What happens after launch?
Every build includes a launch support plan for anything that surfaces once real customers arrive. For ongoing work, a monthly support plan from £129 covers updates, backups and changes, and bigger additions become their own build on the same codebase.
