What we build
An app is rarely just an app. Most of the work sits behind the screen.
Field and staff apps
Job sheets, checklists, photos and signatures for people who work away from a desk. Where the signal is poor, the app stores work on the phone and syncs when it reconnects, so a day on site or in the yard is never lost.
Customer apps
Booking, ordering, loyalty and account access for the customers who use you every week.
Companion apps
A phone app for a web system you already run, sharing the same accounts and data.
The back end
A Laravel API, push notifications and a custom or Filament admin dashboard, so you control what the app shows.
Store submission
App Store and Google Play listings, TestFlight builds and internal testing before release.
When a web app is enough
Plenty of app briefs are better as a mobile-friendly web app, at least for the first year. It costs less to change, needs no store approval and works on every device.
Stay on the web when
- People will use it now and then, not daily. Installing an app is a hurdle for that.
- It is mostly forms, lists, bookings and payments.
- You are still finding out whether anyone wants it.
- Staff use it at a desk as often as on a phone.
Build a native app when
- It is used every day and belongs on the home screen.
- It needs the camera, GPS, Bluetooth or push notifications.
- It has to work with no signal.
- Your customers expect to find you in the app stores.
Flutter, React Native or NativePHP
All three produce an iOS app and an Android app from a single codebase, so there is one app to build and maintain instead of two.
- Flutter
- Draws its own interface, so the app looks identical on every phone. Our usual choice for a new app with a custom design.
- React Native
- The better choice when your team already writes React, or the app shares logic with a React web product.
- NativePHP
- For products already built on Laravel. The app is written in PHP, so it shares code and developers with the system behind it.
- Laravel API
- Accounts, data and business rules live on the server, where they can be changed without waiting for a store review.
- Custom or Filament admin dashboard
- So your office can manage users and content without a developer.
How it works and how long it takes
The same process as our other software, plus two app stores at the end.
A free call
30 minutes
We ask who will use the app, how often, and what the phone needs to do. Sometimes the answer is a web app.
Written proposal
No charge
A written proposal covering the main screens, with the price and timeline for your requirements, sent after the call and agreed before the build starts.
Build
4 to 10 weeks
You install test builds on your own phone through TestFlight and Google Play internal testing, and talk to the developers directly.
Store review
Set by Apple and Google
Both stores review every app before it goes public. We prepare the listings and handle any questions that come back.
What an app costs
Apps are priced on your requirements, not on set tiers. One codebase covers both platforms.
iOS and Android app, from

The price depends on the size and complexity of what you need. After the free first call you get a written proposal with the price and timeline.
What the price depends on

- Accounts and a backend
- Integrations and payments
- Offline use
- One Flutter, React Native or NativePHP codebase for iOS and Android
- App Store and Google Play submission
- Care planUpdates, backups and two hours of changes after launch.

- Growth supportTen hours a month for fixes and small features.
- £599/mo
- Support hoursBought separately, as needed, without a monthly plan.

Working with us from anywhere in the UK or worldwide
Apps for farms, estates, hauliers and trades share one constraint: the signal drops. We design for that from the first screen. Testing is remote by nature, because builds arrive on your own phone and you try them where the work happens, in the cab, the barn or the plant room. Feedback goes straight to the developers on a call or a message.

Questions buyers ask
Straight answers. If yours is not here, email us.
- Flutter, React Native or NativePHP: which should we choose?
- Flutter if the app is new and you want a consistent custom design on every phone. React Native if you already have React developers or a React web app to share code with. NativePHP if your product already runs on Laravel and you want the app in the same language. All three ship to iOS and Android from one codebase. We recommend one in the written proposal and explain why.
- How much does it cost to build an app?
- From £1,999, depending on your requirements. The main factors are the number of screens and user flows, whether the app needs accounts and a backend, integrations and payments, and offline use. The price covers iOS and Android from one codebase. After the free first call you get a written proposal with the price and timeline.
- How long until it is in the App Store?
- A first version usually takes 4 to 5 weeks and a larger app 10 to 12. Your written proposal gives the timeline for your requirements. Apple and Google then review the app, and how long that takes is up to them, so we submit before the date you need.
- Whose developer account is the app published under?
- Yours. We publish under your own Apple and Google developer accounts so the listings belong to your business. We help you set the accounts up.
- Can the app work offline?
- Yes, when it is designed for that from the start. The app keeps data on the phone and syncs when a connection returns. Offline support adds scope, so tell us early if staff work where coverage is poor.
Tell us who will use the app
A 30-minute call is enough to work out whether you need the app stores or a good web app.
