Retail systems we build
Off-the-shelf EPOS charges per till and per feature. A web-based system you own makes sense once those fees, or the gaps, start to hurt.
Web-based point of sale
A till that runs in the browser on a tablet or touchscreen, with card terminals, receipts, discounts and refunds.
Stock and purchasing
Stock levels across sites, low-stock alerts, purchase orders and goods-in, with barcode scanning.
Online ordering and click and collect
Orders from your website arrive in the same system as the till, so stock is right everywhere.
Loyalty and customer accounts
Points, vouchers and customer history, without a separate loyalty subscription.
Reporting across sites
Sales by site, product and hour, staff performance and end-of-day reconciliation, exported for the accountant.
Case studies
Comparable work we can walk you through.
We have not published an EPOS case study yet. On a call we can walk you through comparable work, including the cashier, payments and multi-branch reporting in the cargo portal we built for Laksiri.
What matters in EPOS software
A till that stops working on a Saturday is a lost day of takings.
- Offline first
- Sales keep going when the internet drops and sync when it returns.
- Card terminals and payments
- Integrated with providers such as Stripe Terminal, Square or Dojo, so the amount is never typed twice.
- Speed at the counter
- Large touch targets, quick search and keyboard shortcuts. Every second at the till is a queue.
Questions buyers ask
Straight answers. If yours is not here, email us.
- What is web-based EPOS?
- A point of sale system that runs in a web browser instead of software installed on each till. It works on tablets and touchscreens you already own, and every site shares one database.
- Does it work without internet?
- We build it to keep taking sales offline and sync when the connection returns. Card payments depend on the terminal provider’s own offline rules.
- Is bespoke EPOS cheaper than a subscription?
- For a single shop, rarely. For several sites, or a business whose workflow off-the-shelf systems do not fit, owning the system can cost less over a few years. We will do that sum with you on the call.
