Fintech software development

We build fintech MVPs, payment flows, customer dashboards and the back-office tools behind them for UK startups and finance teams. Money moving through software is where a mistake is most expensive, so those parts are tested before anything else.

Fintech products we build

From a first version that proves the idea to the rebuild that lets it carry real volume.

  • Fintech MVPs

A first version with sign-up, verification steps, the core transaction and an admin view, small enough to launch in weeks.

  • Payments and subscriptions

Stripe, GoCardless and PayPal flows: one-off payments, direct debits, plans, refunds and the webhooks that keep your records in step.

  • Customer dashboards

Balances, statements, transactions and documents, in a portal your customers can trust.

  • Finance operations tools

Reconciliation, approvals, invoicing and reporting for finance teams, with exports for the accountant.

  • Accounting and banking integrations

Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and Open Banking providers, connected with retries and a log of every transfer.

What matters in fintech software

Speed matters to founders. Correctness matters more.

Tests on the money paths
Automated tests cover every flow that moves money or changes a balance, so a later change cannot quietly break one.
Queues and idempotency
Payments and webhooks run on queues and are safe to retry, so a timeout never charges a customer twice.
Permissions and audit
Who can approve, refund or export is set by role, and every action is recorded.
Regulated partners
We build on top of regulated providers rather than holding funds ourselves. Your FCA position is a question for your compliance adviser, and we will design around their answer.

Questions buyers ask

Straight answers. If yours is not here, email us.

Can you rebuild an MVP that is struggling under load?
Yes, and it is one of our case studies. We rebuild in slices so there is always a working product, starting with the parts that move money.
Which payment providers do you work with?
Most often Stripe, GoCardless and PayPal. If you have a provider in mind, we read its documentation while writing the proposal.
Are you FCA regulated?
No. We are a software company. We build products that use regulated partners for payments and banking, and we work with your compliance adviser on what the product needs.
